As I sit and contemplate finishing off my University course work, before knuckling down to some serious revision for my end of year, online exams in May and June, I’m distracted by the thought of 667 days left before the 2022 Winter Paralympics in Beijing.
So, after a few false starts in getting us all out to our first World Cup training and racing camps in Switzerland, we eventually got going against what seemed like an unlucky streak.
Instead of heading to our usual European races before Christmas, we took the decision to go to Mammoth USA, to do some speed events (Downhill and Super G).
What a few weeks this has been. Since my last blog, I have been on a 10-day training camp to a place called Solda, in Italy.
