Well, what a day that was. Our first World Championship GS event ever and we went and got Silver. It’s was the second biggest race of my life and against people Who thrashed me last year at Sochi. I now have a bench mark to work towards next season and onwards to South Korea 2018.
We have been surrounded by such great support in Canada and back home. Thank you to my wonderful coaches and the physio staff who are brilliant and have kept me and my neck on the snow. They work so hard on our behalf on and off the hill…they don’t rest…they can’t be human! Thank you Dr Elliott for keeping on top of my pain and nutrition. Thank you, also to James Redpath back at base camp GB, who sorts us out and tells us what country we are supposed to be in and when and for how long. Thank you to DSUK for being there from the beginning and believing in me. Thank you to all my sponsors and supporters…I really need you and hope I can make you proud.
