I had a great time at the woman of the year awards and met some fascinating women. I felt very privileged to be in their company. Thanks to Kate Jackson for lending me something to wear. Hah! On the 17th October, we went to the Canterbury and District Sports Awards, where I was nominated for an award and had been asked to do a question and answers interview on stage with Ian Bell from the BBC. I took home a lovely glass trophy for winning the disabled sports person award – I was chuffed! Thank you to all who voted. I had a great time.
The following morning we caught the 5.50am eurotunnel to drive to Austria to catch up with the British Disabled Ski Team’s last few days of a training camp in Hintertux. It was great to catch up with my Team and my wonderful Coach, Tony McAllister. I love being with them. We then spent a few days training with the American Disabled Ski Team – thank you to Coach Brad for putting up with Jen and I.
Goodness, time flys by.
I am currently out in Stubai, Austria with my lovely guide Jen Kehoe. Jen was my guide last year until she had to take time out to mend her ruptured ACL. She sadly missed Sochi but still came to cheer me on..what a mate!
We are training very hard and really getting our mojo back after quite a break. We are here with the Combined Services Disabled Ski Team and being coached by Mark Scorgie. It’s such fun and I’m spending time with some wonderful guys.
I will keep up with my blogs over the winter and let you know what’s happening. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Thank you to my sponsors
