Wow, what an amazing night at the opening ceremony. I can’t really remember much of it as so much was happening around me. I do remember feeling very nervous before walking out into the arena, I didn’t want to fall over, drop the flag or bump into anything! Walking out and hearing the crowd roar was truly amazing, people told me that Putin even waved when we came in!

Recovering from yet another concussion had undoubtedly taken its toll, physically, mentally, and particularly on our progress on skis and training.
