Some positive news!

After a very successful 5 weeks training indoors in Manchester, I had made enough progress to return to the mountains!

Millie Knight - Some positive news!

The training that we did in the indoor domes was basic but essential, fine tuning the fundamental skills that take hours to dial in. Oh, that and making sure I had no concussion symptoms! This was put to the test with many activities such as; kayaking, paddle boarding, indoor skydiving and lots of gym training.

Once I was given the medical all clear to return to full training, I flew out to Saas Fee, Switzerland!

The first two days were really tough as it’s quite a challenging place with a long commute up the mountain every day. On average, I was burning between 5 – 7,000 calories a day for 17 days!

It was amazing to be back out with the full team for the first time in almost 7 months. I certainly made progress on skis too, actually far more than I had expected!

I had 10 days at home before having to head back out to Saas Fee for another 2 week block of training.

I’ll let you know how it went soon!
